Language and communication development in individuals with Down syndrome: my research has been investigating language development for young children with Down syndrome using a longitudinal design, pre-linguistic precursors to language in Down syndrome, understanding and expression of prosody in children with Down syndrome and in those with Williams syndrome, language abilities in children with Williams syndrome and how these may compare to those who have developmental language disorder
