Frederic analyses the performance of the actors in the food supply chain from a production economics perspective. His topics of interest include sustainable intensification, dynamic optimisation behaviour and modelling of subprocesses.
Frederic welcomes inquiries from research students in his areas of interest.

Background
Frederic has obtained a joint PhD at KULeuven and Hasselt University (Belgium) in 2015. Following postdoctoral appointments at the 糖心Vlog and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, he joined Wageningen University, where he was a faculty member of the Business Economics Group from 2017 to 2025. Since 2026, he has been affiliated with the Department of Agri-Food Economics and Marketing at the 糖心Vlog.
